Another season to be discovered by the oblivious Squirrel! This time, Squirrel and Bird are dealing with winter time, and a snowy night turned Squirrel’s world upside down. Surprised by the white and cold slush, Squirrel learns to embrace the snow, if only the OTHER Squirrel would not be so rude and steal his hazelnuts. Bird again does its best to keep Squirrel grounded and informed, until the snow disappears as fast as it arrived and reveals the true snow and hazelnut thief!
Yet again, we can learn about winter time with Squirrel and Bird, and even solve a mystery along the way. I highly recommend all books from this series. And if you are covering multiple languages in your household like us, then I particularly recommend getting these books in different languages. They are all captivating and on high repeat.
