“Mein Elefant will nicht ins Bett” - Cee Neudert, Susanne Göhlich | (“My Elefant doesn’t want to go to Bed”)

It's now bedtime for Anna, but as you can imagine, Anna has a completely different opinion. But not because Anna doesn't want to go to bed herself. It's because her playmate, the elephant, still has so many things to do. First he is still hungry, then thirsty, and of course he still has to go to the toilet and jump on the trampoline. So the bedtime ritual between Anna and Papa drags on - while Papa takes it all in his stride and accepts Anna and her elephant's wishes.

This charming story with loving illustrations focuses on the challenges of sleeping and a child's imagination. The story also emphasises how important it is to take children's needs seriously, even during routine activities.
