Robert wants to organise a cake party. First he wants to make invitation cards - after all, that's part of a proper party. And Dad and Mopsi the dog should definitely be there. But when Robert has finished writing all the cards, a gust of wind blows them all off the balcony. All of them? No, luckily there are still two left. Just enough to be able to invite Dad and Mopsi after all. So Robert doesn't let the wind get in his way and cheerfully starts making his salt dough cake. He is ready just in time for the cake party with Dad and Mopsi. Just as the party is about to start, the doorbell rings.
Dad's consistent support of Robert's ideas is great to read. The fact that Robert doesn't let the wind and the wafting away of the invitation cards get in his way and distract him from his goal also motivates the reader to do the same. All the better that the story comes to a rounded end.
