Language of book for review:
Brazilian Portuguese - “O espaço magico que acalma”

Tom (Jared) comes home very upset about something and lets his agression out by kicking the dinner table. His mum tries to channel his aggression towards a peaceful outlet and suggest first breathing and calming down. Once calm, Tom is able to tell her that he was upset as he broke his gift for dad's birthday. Mum acknowledges his feelings, but reminds him to find peaceful ways to let go of his anger. She asks Tom what activity would calm him down in moments like these. Tom isn't sure, so Mum offers to create a special place for him to calm down. Tom wants to build the outer space with a space ship to calm down in. So they move into action and transform a part of his room into a space scene with a space ship in it. When later on, Tom again feels rage coming up, he remembers the space corner and tries it out for the first time.
The book not only exemplifies gentle parenting and ways to deal with children's temper, but also shows the child themselves that they can be in charge of their own emotional processing.
