This book gives you just that: a beautiful introduction to what our world is, easily understood and illustrated. The child can look at each page as it is, or you can delve into explanations of what is happening on the page and why. Why is the world the way it is? And why it's good that we're all here.
The book can grow with the baby for a long time, as there is so much to explore. At some point, the ‘you don't know how to speak yet’ passage will become obsolete, but that doesn't take away from the magic of the book and the love for our planet that is being passed on to the next generation.
